After your dive, remember to give your body time to recover before flying or heading to altitude — at least 12 hours for a single dive and 18 hours if you’ve made more than one.

Now’s the time to get into dive mode. Stay hydrated, grab a light snack, and steer clear of alcohol before diving. Check that your gear fits comfortably, your mask is clear, and your fins feel right. A quick stretch or a few deep breaths can help you relax and tune in to the rhythm of the ocean.

The controlled seated entry is a technique divers typically use to enter the water from small boats, such as rigid inflatables (RIBs). To perform this technique, sit on the edge of a platform or boat with your back towards the sea. Ensure your BCD is fully inflated, and put your regulator in your mouth and your mask on your face. One hand holds your regulator/mask, and the other holds your BCD's LPI and instruments. Roll backwards, letting your body fall into the water while keeping your head tucked. Once you hit the water, give an "OK" to the boat crew so they know you are fine.
الدخول الجلوسي المنضبط هو تقنية يستخدمها غواصون كثيراً للدخول من قوارب صغيرة مثل القوارب المنتفخة (قاومات الأنبوب الاطار). لتنفيذ هذه التقنية، اجلس على حافة منصة أو قارب وظهرك مواجه للبحر. تأكد أن سترة التحكم في الطفو منتفخة تمامًا، وضع منظم التنفس في فمك والقناع على وجهك. قم بإمساك منظم التنفس/قناع بيد، وفي اليد الأخرى قابض على مخرج LPI لسترة التحكم في الطفو والأجهزة الأخرى. انقلب للوراء ودع جسمك يسقط في الماء مع إحفاظك برأسك منحنيًا. عندما تلمس الماء، أعطي إشارة "OK" لطاقم القارب ليعرفوا أنك بخير.

Never hold your breath is the most important rule in diving, and this is particularly important when ascending. During your ascent you should not ascend any faster than your computer allows. If you're using the NovoScuba Dive planner ascend no faster than 9 metres per minute. That means that from 5 metres (or your safety stop), it should take at least 30 seconds to reach the surface!
ألا تحتفظ بنفسك هو أهم قاعدة في الغوص، ولذلك هي مهمة جداً أثناء الصعود. خلال صعودك ولا يجب أن تصعد أسرع مما يسمح به الكمبيوتر الخاص بك. إذا كنت تستخدم منظم الغوص NovoScuba فلا تصعد أسرع من 9 متر/دقيقة. هذا يعني أنه من عند 5 متر (أو وقفة أمانك)، يجب أن يستغرق الصعود على الأقل 30 ثانية للصول إلى سطح الماء!
